The Incredible Adventures of Baroness of Wamm of Wammhausen And Her Strange As Well As Spectacular Methods

After her first successful book Zosia's literary ambition didn't let her rest, so she wanted to double her success with a second publication. As she has noticed, that not all humans, and less intelligent animals like cats and dogs even less, did understand her reflections, but also because she was tempted by the challenge of a new genre, she started to write an adventurous novel. It should open the world of her reflections and her way of thinking also for the mind of less intellectual beings. The heroine is of course a noble lady rabbit which has to pass many adventures with many different animals.

By knocking signals I have learned, that my friend Ludmilla of Sachsa and Golda has given birth to a full litter. Of course I wanted to see her and her smart juniors as soon as possible. Therefore I decided to travel to the farm where lived the lovely Ludmilla. The surprise was a big one when I arrived and I was welcomed heartily and invited instantly to join them in their lunch. And what a juicy lunch lay there and I must confess, that they hadn‘t to ask me twice, to taste these fine herbs. Unfortunately, Ludmilla‘s husband, Bodo of Bodowitsch doesn‘t live on the same farm. What a pity, I would have loved to make his aquaintance.
During lunch we were disturbed by a frightened cackling. „These are the ducklings there in the duck‘s stable.“ said Ludmilla and continued, „probably Heinrich von der Krallenburg (Henry of Clawcastle) is once again sneaking in the stable and waiting for a nice opportunity to carry one of the ducklings away.“ „Who is this Heinrich“ I wanted to know. When I heard, that it was the name for a cat, I didn‘t hesitate one second longer. I let the juicy herb lying where it was and hurried in the direction of the duck‘s stable. And indeed, I saw the cat in front of the stable. He already stretched his head into the stable to the ducklings. I had to do something! Without thinking twice, I sprang onto the cat directly behind his shoulder. Heinrich von der Krallenburg was so frightened that he escaped, wildly mewing. I thumped the following message into his back: „I warn you, never try this again!“ and „Heinrich, you disgust me!“ The small ducklings were entirely happy and cackled all in one great pell-mell. I quickly calmed them down and waited with them for the return of their duck mother. Adventures of Baroness of Wamm of Wammhausen, First Adventure

I had filled my stomach up to the limit when I said goodbye to Miroslav and continued to follow my path. As it showed very soon I had eaten too much maize and I suddenly was very tired and lazy. So I decided to lie down behind a small stone with view onto a small lake and to rest a bit. It seems that I slept because when I again started to look around, there were two young foxes standing in front of me, laughing at me with a malicious grin. They obviously were very pleased by their fat prey which was napping so peacefully in front of them. As I still was rather tired I decided not to move and to see, what these two were up to. I soon remarked that they were in a conflict. Each of them wanted to have me for himself alone. This was my chance. The two foxes started to fight . Still remainig totally immobile, I saw appearing at the nearby shore of the lake a long white neck. It was a majestic swan that winked me with the head to come to him. I took a short look at the two foxes over me and ran as fast as I could to the swan. He told me to take a seat on his big back and sooner as the foxes realized, I already sailed on the nicest featherbed that you can think of over the lake. The two foxes yelped some time at the shore behind us, but soon there was nothing to be heard of them and I again fell into a short but refreshing sleep helped by the movement and the sound of the water.
