On this page I will introduce to you my two humans. Apparently the texts for the different protagonists have become longer, so that I had to divide the content on two different pages. To get back to us rabbits just select the corresponding item in the menu above.
This is Alex, the male part of my servant staff. He is quite a sport but has also his little dark sides. So he doesn't like at all, when I (very seldom) happen to loose some poops in the appartment and don't put them into the litterbox where they belong. He simply cannot understand the digestion of us rabbits. He also reacts allergically on attempts to nipple on his earphone cable. Since my female servant isn't home during the day anymore, he is now in charge of my three daily meals. He seems to have been learned by my female human, as he has the same ideas about healthy food. Why they have to feed me fennel, I simply cannot understand. I don't mind the green parts, but the vegetable...well, be it as it is, mostly I cannot complain, he brings me my estimated parsley and sweet corn, my apples and dill. Until lately he was my favorite masseur. But now I start to feel one of the disadvantages of the new appartment. They have put the two armchairs in the living room too far appart, so that the good petting situation has been lost. While I have been petted during a whole opera (he is a great fan of this yelling in the highest possible sounds) I now am a bit neglected in this part. But I use the time won in meditating more under the living room table and will share the won insights with my readers in the next book. But to put things right, petting has not entirely stopped, they now give it to me in smaller chunks.
Another part of Alex's life (beside working to buy me parsley) is his (my!) Mac at which he spends whole evenings putting pictures together in Photoshop. There is just one problem: he blockes like this the Mac, I use to fetch my mail and visit all those bunny pages over the internet.
Next I want to present Réjeanne, my secretary and assistant in putting these pages together. Until this January she was also in charge of my daily meals. This responsability she has passed over to Alex, as she is now working every day far away and is only home in the evening and on the weekends. So she just gives me the dinner and the weekend menues. But she still is responsible for the cleaning of my cage and the litterbox. She always does this on Saturday and I reward her with digging with joy in the new heaps of straw I find in the cage.
As former visitors already know she is addicted to Apple and Macintosh. Can you imagine somebody working all day on such a machine and in the evening also sitting in front of it, working or playing? I am sometimes a bit jealous, as I ask myself, what this machine can do, that I can't. Now she has even started to collect old Macs, putting them together to form a network. The only good side of this fascination is, that she has now at last gave way to my urging to revamp my webpage and include new features and new themes. But why it always has to take so much urging...One point to help me has been her new PowerBook with which she can use the time travelling by train to work on it. But no fear, I control every page in the evening, as no to loose control about the content and presentation!
Here you can see Ellen and Steve, the humans of Brulee. Unfortunately I can't tell you very much about them as I haven't met them so far. But Bru has told me only positive things about them. They care a lot about her and give her anything a rabbit can yearn for: petting, a selfmade house out of a box, toys and cilantro of course. There is only one thing Bru doesn't like about them. As Steve needs the email account also for his business, they stopped her subscription to the petbunny mailing list as there were too many messages to download everyday.
Ellen works as a freelancer in the graphic sector after she has quit her job. She is working now for Steve (as she already did before in the evenings) and is also preparing his webpage.
Steve works as a broker. Unfortunately he hasn't found a suitable house for me yet. A small place for the holidays in the US wouldn't be bad. The hay, Bru sent me once was really tasty, you know.
